Follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow the russet leaf road!*
I'd earmarked my day off in Den Haag for a good walk around the Scheveningse Bosjes, come rain or come shine. Hahahah! Sorry! Come shine! HAHAHAHAH!
The thing I love about the gloom of a typically overcast Winter's day in a northern European forest is that glow. You know, the one I mean? The almost primeval light radiating from the earth through the ground cover of bronze and copper leaves.
Or is it just me...?
It's not just me! You can see it too, can't you?
Or, of course, it might just be my dodgy camera...
Nah, I don't think so!
I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining it...
and it's not the result of a migraine aura...
...but it might have something to do with the sun, when it finally deigns to join us, being so low in the sky to begin with...
Low-level lighting in every sense of the words!
*Apologies for the earworm!
